An octopus pot is a ceramic pot used to capture octopuses in Japan. The octopus floats and dreams in his man-made prison, unaware of his impending fate. To honor the beautiful and incredibly intelligentoctopus, I created a stained glass mosaic table top a few years ago, using thousands of hand-nipped shards of translucent glass.
